Deferral of Admission Form

Congratulations on your acceptance to Moody Bible Institute or Moody Theological Seminary! Please fill out this form if you wish to delay your enrollment past the semester of your admission.

Policies and Information

Deferrals are only reserved for newly admitted students, and requests must be submitted through this form by the start of your semester of admission.
You are eligible to defer your enrollment for one semester. If you do not enroll in your term of admission or the following term (excluding the summer term), you must reapply through the Office of Admissions.
If you have enrolled in any courses at Moody, you must withdraw before the start of the semester. Failing to do so may result in financial or academic penalties.

Upon submitting this form, the Offices of Admissions, Academic Records, and (if applicable) Housing and the International Student Office will be notified of your intentions. You will also receive confirmation of the form submission.
